Happy Thanksgiving to one and all—we are anticipating a tremendous feast in a couple days, it sounds like it will be even as good as the feast we had three days ago. As great gramas and grampas ,we take advantage of all the free meals these kids have to offer.–they are all such good cooks. Gram and I are playing it kind of cool–real cool in fact Gram had a pacemaker installed yesterday, so the next few weeks ol john will be preparing the eats around here, I’m sure we will think of thanksgiving many times.
The harvest in this part of the country has been a trying time, with the wet ground and high moisture crops—but the yelds are fantastic, so everyone has a lot to be thankful for. We don’t have to go too far north or too far south,where too much rain or too much hail has created a different way of looking at Thanksgiving. Trials are something that has a way of opening our eyes to a bigger picture, one that will last into eternity.
The gift of life is a great gift–but the gift of eternal life, took the sacrifice of GOD’S SON to make it possible.
